By the film’s end, he consolidates rival crews under one banner: the Black Diamond Republic — a syndicate that runs music, money, and street distribution with military precision. The closing scene (a rooftop negotiation gone wrong) becomes the spark for every film after.

Hood Chicks (2017 Spin-off)

A year later, Khan delegates power to an all-female enforcement and influence crew, the Hood Chicks. They turn fashion shows and pop-ups into fronts for laundering and recruitment. When their stash gets robbed, Khan’s absence forces them to move independently — a turning point that fractures his empire but builds his legend. Cameos and references to The Come Up tie both stories together as different sides of the same kingdom.

Drugz & Strippers (2019)

Khan mentors a rogue client — a gifted but unstable protégé — whose ambition spirals into chaos. The protege kidnaps one of Khan’s investors, trying to force his way into the Black Diamond Republic hierarchy. Grand Theft Auto: Murder City (2022)

New Detroit descends into open war. When one of Khan’s rising talents is killed by a rival, Khan executes the shooter in broad daylight — a cinematic parallel to the Michael/Trevor tension in classic GTA stories. Police corruption, influencer politics, and digital crime all collide as Khan expands the Republic from local empire to national syndicate.

The Come Up 2 (2025)

The betrayal chapter. Khan’s wife aligns with his plug, plotting to seize his operation while he rebuilds the Republic. In the film’s climax, Khan confronts his plug in a rain-soaked alley and shoots him point-blank in the head — mirroring the cold execution tone of Murder City.
