Ashei Khan is a Detroit-born visionary — a director, writer, and producer who turned raw hustle into motion picture.
From the underground rise of The Come Up to the gritty chaos of Hood Chicks, Drugz & Strippers, and Grand Theft Auto: Murder City, his films capture the heart of the grind: ambition, betrayal, loyalty, and survival.
What started with a handheld camera and a trunk full of DVDs evolved into a cinematic universe known as New Detroit — a movement where real people become characters, and characters become legacy.
